The International Alliance of Marine Related Institutions (IAMRI) is a global network of universities and research institutions dedicated to marine science, ocean education, and sustainable development. IAMRI promotes international collaboration through education, research, knowledge exchange, and provides a platform for marine scientists and academic leaders to discuss emerging issues in ocean science.
This year’s IAMRI Annual Meeting will be held in conjunction with the 8th International Symposium on Cage Aquaculture in Asia (CAA8) at Nha Trang University, Vietnam, creating a broader international forum to promote interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration on marine resources and the blue economy for sustainable development.
Sustainable Marine Resources and Blue Economy in a Changing Ocean
The theme will provide a platform for discussions on:
(i) Sustainable fisheries and aquaculture
(ii) Marine ecosystem conservation and biodiversity
(iii) Climate change and ocean resilience
(iv) Marine technology and ocean observation
(v) Blue economy and ocean governance
(vi) International collaboration in marine research and education
